Spider Flower Crochet top

 I love Caron Cotton Cakes. It's so nice to work with and they come in lots of colours. Perfect for summer clothing. It's 60% cotton and 40% acrylic.

I don't like wearing acrylic in the summer/fall, but this cotton blend is just perfect!

So I made the Spider Flower crochet top with Caron Cotton Cakes and I love it.
The pattern comes with 9 sizes:

XS (Bust: 80 cm, 31.5”)
S (Bust: 90 cm, 35.5”)
M (Bust: 100 cm, 39.25”)
L (Bust: 110 cm, 43.25”)
XL (Bust: 120 cm, 47.25”)

5XL (Bust: 57.5 cm, 62”)

XS: 436g/815m, 15oz/891yds
S: 500g/800m, 17.5oz/870yds
M: 521g/974m, 18oz/1065yds
L: 574g/1073m, 20oz/1173.5yds
XL: 617g/1153m, 22oz/1261yds
2XL: 698g/1305m, 24.5oz/1427yds
3XL: 752g/1406m, 26.5oz/1537.5yds
4XL: 816g/1525m, 28.5oz/1667.5 yds
5XL: 866g/1619, 30.5oz/1770.5yds
Hook: 4.5mm (US7)
Other: Tapestry needles, scissors, stitch markers

How difficult the pattern is?
You need to make sure that the starting ch is right!!!!!!! Few of my testers had problems, because they didn't chain the right amount of numbers. After we realized what the problem was, it was easy for an intermediate crocheters.
You only need to know single crochet and duple crochet.

You will make 4 panels (back/front and sleeves). Then you have to sew them together, or You can use single crochet to attach the pieces together. The top has a boat neck. You can also make the top sleeveless. Many of my testers made it that way. As always you can make the sweater shorter/longer. Styling the top
I had so much fun wearing this top this summer, and fortunately even though it's September, I can still wear it.
I can dress it up with a nice black dress, or I can wear it with a pair of jeans. There are many options!

  Blocked and unblocked panels. You can see how blocking can help with your measurements. When I started to knit I had no idea what blocking was. After many years of knitting I learnt about it, and started to use it for my knit wearables. I find it very useful when I make lace patterns. What does blocking do with our projects?
